AN EDUCATION FOR VULNERABLE CHILDREN
A happy child brings joy to the community

Ensi Women raises funds from individuals and institutions to pay school fees for vulnerable children and youth. Our students come from poor families. Many are orphans, some are from single parent families and others are disabled.  Every year, we have on our books, more than 50 students in primary schools, secondary schools, vocational institutions and university.

WOMEN FOR CULTURE

Ensi is based in Tooro Kingdom in western Uganda. We bring together women, young and old, to gather collections of artifacts, knowledge, images, and audio visual material of the region’s rich natural, cultural and historical heritage. These are then showcased through online and physical museum exhibitions.   Ensi also offers local cultural tours to women’s households in villages. Women thus earn a living while helping to preserve the rich culture of the region.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Every year, Ensi invites schools in the region to take part in the only educational fair in the region featuring an exciting academic challenge among primary and secondary schools, inspirational speakers, career guidance, exhibitions, and an award ceremony with eminent  leaders.   We also hold an annual cultural festivals with schools and cultural groups featuring music and drama performances from different cultures to celebrate our diversity.
